I'm in my 4th week now..running 10:1 (10 minutes running, 1 minute walking). Last week I ran late on Wednesday night (after Cory's Prom reception) and I had Mike bike beside me so I wouldn't be by myself.
I was amazed that I was able to run 10 minutes..but felt so good afterwards!!
I feel better each week. Although, I do not see a difference on the scales..I can feel it around my waist. Woo Hoo!!

Cory and Sydney's Prom - June 24th, 2009
I went to the Prom reception at the Hilton Hotel in Hull (by the Casino). Sydney was part of the Grad committee, she did a wonderful job of organizing this Prom.
Her grandmother made her dress and she was absolutely stunning! Cory picked a red shirt and cream colored tie to match Sydney's dress. What a cute couple!!~ Congrats Grads ~

Running Room - Week #2
I have kept up my run 5 walk 1 minute!! Krissy has been a great inspiration.
This week we move to run 7 walk 1..should be fun tonight.
It's really great to be part of a group, much more inspiring that running alone. I will be taking part in the Sunday morning run free Runs (Bank St. location) once our Sunday school
teaching is over June 28th.
God is good and he has been giving me the strength and discipline to keep this running up!
(just have to remember to take my puffer first..LOL)

Trip to Waterloo - Alain's Convocation 2009
Alain's Convocation was June 13th, 2009 in Waterloo, ON.We travelled with Alain's parents, Gilda and William. It was a really nice trip..(although due to an accident, a little long going down).

Walker really did well...we had frequent 'puppy' pee stops.

Mike did most of the driving on the way down. It was really nice weather and I was taking advantage of taking pics with my new camera phone. This was our first big trip with the new car and it was very smooth.
We arrived at the Radisson Hotel quite late, 11:30pm checked into our rooms and Mike and I took Walker for a little walk and to explore a little.
Walker really appreciated the soft comfy bed, with down duvet. LOL

The next morning we all had breakfast at a little Country Time donut shop beside the hotel. We then headed to St. Jacob's Market. Mike and I both brought some Crocs, he bought 2 pairs (sandals and shoes) and had a great chat with one of the Amish young ladies manning the shop.
We arrived at the University of Waterloo just after 1:30pm and got our seats.
I was so excited to see Alain walking down the aisle..pic is a little fuzzy, but I wanted to post anyhow.
Took these great sunset pics on the way.
